Septic System Installation License # OS0040440

A septic system is an on-site wastewater treatment system, typically used in areas without access to a public sewer system. It relies on natural processes to treat wastewater from homes, separating solids and liquids, with the solids settling in a tank and the liquids draining into a drainfield. This system helps prevent contamination of groundwater and ensures safe disposal of household wastewater.

Underground Electric Lines

An underground electric line is a system for distributing electricity where the power cables are buried beneath the surface of the ground, instead of being supported by poles and overhead wires. This method offers aesthetic benefits and protection from certain weather conditions, but it is more than overhead lines.

For clients that own a property with trees, the main reason to go underground is to keep as many trees as possible. By Texas law, an overhead powerline requires a 30ft horizontal and vertical clearing. Compare this to the 20ft horizontal requirement for underground power lines. This means removing fewer trees and less trimming, preserving the natural beauty of the property.

Underground power lines used to be expensive, that has changed. Yes, if we install underground power lines only, the cost will be more than that of overhead power lines. But if we use the same 20ft clearing for the electric, water and your driveway then the price comes out lower than what you will pay if you install it separately.

We work in close coordination with your electric company throughout the process.

How does the process for Underground Electric Lines work?

It all starts with marking a 20ft wide path, instead of 30ft for overhead power lines. We take care of the rest. Note: Bluebonnet and other electric companies can only pull the wires when it is a straight line. There are ways to accommodate, but a straight line is by far the most cost-effective way for both trenching and driveways.

How much will it cost?

Factors that influence the cost are, is it a straight line or curves, the type of vegetation that needs to be cleared, is the land flat or are there variations, soil types etc.

How long does it take?

It all depends on the scope of the project, and weather conditions. Weather conditions can impact the timeline. A rainstorm can delay trenching by a couple of days.
